“Out of all the downgrades, luger takes the cake.”

The Luger (also known as Pistole Parabellum, Parabellum-Pistole, Pistol Parabellum) is a toggle-locked recoil-operated semi-automatic pistol first produced by Georg Luger as a successor to the Borchardt C93. The P08 model is generally recognized as the "face" of the Luger pistol models, for its use by Germany during World War I and II (though in WWII, it was supplanted by the Walther P38).
In-Game Information
The weapon performs very similarly to the Handcannon pistol. The Luger P08 trades lower overall damage for faster firerate. When using this weapon, headshots can instantly kill an enemy. Despite the reduced headshot damage, it can still one shot an enemy, therefore, with the faster firerate, it is more efficient than the Handcannon, provided all shots are headshots.
However, because of drawbacks; this weapon does have a major downside to it, which is its body damage. With only 22 damage to the body, it will take five hits for a kill, which is very inconvenient as the gun only has 8 rounds in its magazine. Not only that, but despite the Luger having a fast rate of fire, it is capped, so it will take time to land those five shots, giving the enemy plenty of time to kill the user.

- The Luger can fire either a 7.62x21mm or a 9x19mm Parabellum cartridge.
- During both World War I and II, Allied soldiers often captured Lugers as trophies/prizes from German soldiers.
- The grip of the P08 has a place where it can attach a carbine stock.
- There is a carbine version of the P08 called Model 1902 Carbine, with an extended barrel and a carbine stock attached, the weapon is also normally used with a 30-round snail drum mag.
- The Luger uses the same reload sound as the G-19X, the G-21, and the G-18, albeit with a lower pitch.
