- The Ban Hammer was awarded to people who bought a fake Admin Gamepass in September 2019.

- The Classic Sword and the Mop are the only melee skins to not have a backstab animation.
- The Gaster Blaster originally had a placeholder icon of the Brass Knuckles.
- It also originally had the Promo rarity, then it was changed to Bundle.
- On November 16, 2019, the Bat icon was changed to the current design since the previous icon was inaccurate to the model of the melee.

- The model for the Bat is taken from the Bat in Typical Colors 2.
- The Bat's model is also inspired by Scout's default melee weapon from TF2.

- There is no backstab animation on the Mop due to the ROLVe developers only using the view-model of it from 2019.
- In the description of the VIP gamepass, it labels the VIP kill effect as Money.
- On May 13th, 2020, a scavenger hunt took place where a code was hidden on Agency that could be redeemed only 500 times for the Portal kill effect. The code was "cakebelie" and is now out of copies.
- There are many melees that are exclusive to the ROLVe staff such as the SpaceKatanaOLD, SuperSpaceKatana, the Equip, the Crucible (renamed version of the Endbringer) and the Moderation Hammer.
- Moderation Hammer used to have the Ban Hammer icon as a placeholder and its rarity being promo before unknowingly changing to a blank icon and promoted to the admin rarity.
- The Banana melee's icon was taken from aiukdhbhg's Banana decal.
- The Banana melee's killicon would turn yellow whenever the user gets a backstab.

- Golden Rings possesses the Gold kill effect.
- There are two duplicates of the Trap Door kill effect with one of them with a capitalized first letter of each standard words, which should be the obtainable one called, TrapDoor.
