“The deagle has 100% first shot accuracy. Enough to hit a headshot. You hit the headshot. You kill the guy. No spread induced. You always aim for the head, no reason not to. At all.”

The Desert Eagle (colloquially known as the Deagle), is a semi-automatic pistol, known for chambering the largest centerfire cartridge of any magazine-fed, self-loading pistol. It has also found fame through its portrayal in different FPS games including Valve's Counter Strike series and Activision's Call Of Duty series.
Former American arms manufacturer, Magnum Research Inc. (MRI), designed and developed the Desert Eagle in the late 1970s. The design would later be refined by Israel Military Industries (IMI), which would also be responsible for manufacturing it until 1995, when the contract shifted by MRI to Saco Defense in Saco, Maine. In 1998, MRI regranted the manufacturing rights back to IMI. In 2005, IMI sold its small arms branch to the private holding company SK Group, where they would rename it to Israel Weapon Industries. Since 2009, the Desert Eagle Pistol has been produced in the United States at MRI's Pillager, Minnesota facility. Kahr Arms acquired Magnum Research in 2010.
In-Game Information

A pistol chambered for various magnum cartridges, the Deagle is a powerful pistol with both intense body and headshot damage. It is able kill an opponent with two shots at anywhere on the body, and deliver an instant kill on the head.
However, the Deagle's damage comes with drawbacks. It has the small 7-round magazine. Spamming with the Deagle easily expends ammo, even though the fire-rate is slow for its class and the reload time is fast. The Deagle also has a high recoil, which can obstruct the users' aim. If faced in the situation where range is involved, try not to spam fire and aim for the head.
Pros & Cons
Pros:
- High damage.
- Has low spread.
- Fast reload.
- One shot-kill on the head.
Cons:
- High recoil.
- Small magazine size.
- Slow rate of fire.
Tips
- As with any first-person shooter the Deagle has appeared in, this weapon's most infamous trait is the high recoil.
- Spamming your shots will make it impossible to land any hits, so you'll need to space out your shots as much as possible.
- Use the Deagle at close-range so you can quickly two-shot nearby opponents.
- If at mid-range, take careful aim so you can land a headshot.
- At longer ranges, crouch so your aim is easier to control and get a headshot.
